About me
Eli Dollarhide (he/him) is the Environmental Education Coordinator in Illinois EPA’s Chicago Office. Since joining IEPA last year, he has expanded the reach and scope of the agency’s educational programing in Chicago and northern Illinois by partnering with museums, non-profits, and local government groups. Eli previously directed an environmental and archaeological research project in the Middle East that studied the ecological impacts of early irrigation practices. His career in public outreach and education also includes working as a park ranger with the US Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Shelbyville. Eli is a National Geographic Explorer and earned his PhD from New York University.
