About me
I (she/they) began my journey with sustainability by joining Plant Chicago during the COVID-19 pandemic, initially as a volunteer before advancing to an intern role and then a retail employee. I later transferred to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I graduated in May 2024 with a degree in Geography & GIS. With a deep-rooted passion for environmental sustainability and food systems, I had the opportunity to conduct research at UIUC, which inspired me to pursue a career in Epidemiology. I aim to lead community-based research to drive equitable change and enhance neighborhood well-being.
